Gracie gets a baby sister!

Hello friends and family! We found out this past Friday that a new baby girl is on her way. She looks very healthy and seems to be doing great so far.

Big sister Gracie could not be any happier! She has said from day one that she wanted a baby sister and never entertained the idea of a baby brother. So you can imagine the excitement when we announced she is getting a baby sister. :)

We haven't officially named her yet, but we do have a few names in mind. We can't wait to meet our new little girl this summer! Here is a cute video of Big sister Gracie before and after we found out the sex of the baby. What a precious moment!

Snow Day in Texas!

Today we had a very unusual site in Austin. Something that I think may have forever setup Gracie for disappointment. The unusual site was a huge snowfall. The flakes were easily the size of a half dollar. It snowed basically all day and accumulated on all the non-cement areas. It was that perfect kind of snow that makes awesome snowballs and snow people. We spent a couple of hours out in the yard playing. It was snowball fights, building a snow Papa and and a snow Gracie. All around fun. I had to drag Gracie in the door a hour past dinner time.

It was surprisingly hard to get that second ball on top of the first. It only cost me the seam in my old navy pants in the end :).

Hmmmmm, which one will it be??? 2 more weeks until the BIG day!


We can't wait to find out! We think it's a sweet girl, but who knows.....????:)We might get the shock of our lives!
