Guess who is going to Montessori School?

That's right miss Gracie! She is starting this week. :) We have been talking about it sending her for several months now, but wanted to give her some time to adjust to Madison being here. We didn't want too many changes in her life all at once. It's hard enough sharing mommy and daddy with a new little one in the house. Much less transitioning to a new BIG girl school. But since Gracie has done so well with Madison being here, we feel like she is ready for Montessori school. Gordon and I love the Montessori philosophy and their approach to learning. They really work one on one with each child and instill in them a sense of love for learning. The results have been amazing from these types of schools. What a great opportunity for Gracie!

We met her new teachers today. Their names are Mrs. Angelica and Mrs. Babitha. They both seem super sweet and have several years of experience. The class is full of girls her age which I know Gracie will love. Gracie seemed excited to be there today. Please pray that her transition goes well. I know it can be hard being in a new place making new friends.

On a different note, Madison is smiling now ! Yay! Daddy just took her to her 2 month appointment this past week and the doctor said she is doing great. She weighed 9 pounds and 13 ounces. She is in the 25% percentile.
What a happy baby!

Madison Isabella Bockus is here!

I'm a little late in posting, but life has been busy since little miss Madison joined our lives. Our precious daughter was born on June 30, 2010. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and 20.5 inches long. We are so happy she is finally here. She is gettting so much love and positive attention from her BIG SISTER. Gracie adores her and told us just the other day that "she wanted to keep her for a LONG time!" Mommy and daddy were so relieved since we were not planning on sending her back. Hehe :)

Gordon and I feel so blessed to have these two adorable girls in our lives. We feel like the luckiest parents in the world! We thank God everyday for them. We are excited to see their relationship grow. :) Just watching them together will make your heart melt. Gracie loves being a BIG sister! She loves to give her lots of kisses and even dances for her when she cries to make her happy. We are very proud of her! Good job Gracie!

It's amazing how much more laid back you are with your second child. We are much more relaxed this time around. We love it and are actually enjoying the newborn stage. Which is a huge surprise considering we could not wait to get to the toddler stage last time.

Proud Big Sister!

Happy 3rd Birthday Gracie!

On May 10th, Gracie turned 3 years old! We celebrated with a Disney Princess Pool Party. So there were plenty of tiaras, crowns, and princess wands floating around. Gracie had been asking for a princess party since Christmas and was super pumped on her BIG day! We even invited several of her playmates from her little school which made her day even more special. Here are a few pics of the birthday girl!

Yay it's my birthday!

Madison Isabella Bockus!

We would like for you to officially meet miss Madison Isabella Bockus! We absolutely love her little name and can't wait to hold her in our arms! The three of us just went to our 31 week ultrasound this past weekend and got to see her in action. Baby Madison was pretty laid back during the ultrasound and did not move around a whole bunch. She was pretty content and wanted to stay in the same position the entire time. We could see she has some hair and a chubby chin (or a double chin as the lady called it)so far. We even got to see her smile and even frown a few times when they would try and get her to move around.

Gracie really enjoyed seeing her baby sister on the big screen. She sat with mommy on the table with a BIG smile on her face the whole time. She even pointed out baby Madison's hands, nose, mouth, head, etc...It was a precious moment for me and daddy to see the gleam in her eye. Let's just hope it stays that way once her baby sister gets here. :)

Here is a short part of the video they took for us. Enjoy!

Mommy and baby are doing good. The blood pressure is staying down so far. Woo hoo! Let's just pray it stays that way until at least 37 weeks. We need baby Madison to bake a little longer in the oven. :) Keep us in your prayers! We are sending everyone our love back!

Our little flower girl!

We attended our cousin Amy's wedding a couple of weekends ago in Oklahoma. And guess who was the cute little fairy/flower girl? That's right, little miss Gracie! :) It was alot of fun! She did great, she made it half way down the isle with a big smile on her face, but got a little shy and ran back to her daddy. So of course daddy took her by her hand and let her down the isle. It was pretty sweet. Kuddos to daddy!

While there we got to spend some quality time with our extended family which Gracie always loves to do. She loves playing with her cousin Beau, so being able to spend the whole weekend with him was just icing on the cake. We also got to meet our newest little cousin Addie. She was too precious! Gracie was very gentle with her and loved taking care of her. I predict many tea parties with baby dolls during our family gatherings in the future with those 2. :)

What a great weekend! Here are some sweet pics her Uncle Mike shared with us.

Congrats Amy and Alex! Thanks for letting us be apart of your special day!
